CHT... Johnson's Unique Process for Repairing Aluminum
Heat Exchangers!

What is the CHT Process? CHT means Continuous Heat Transfer. Johnson's new process for soldering aluminum radiators requires a continuous volume of heat to be applied to the underside of the radiator, while specific heat is applied to the top side where the repair is being made. Then by swaging Johnson's Zinc-Tech solder into the repair by means of an electric abrader tool, a true metallurgical bond is acheived without the use of flux. CHT brochure has more details. |
