CHLORIDE-FREE ROSIN PASTE FLUX

Contains Halide-free Activators for Soldering Silver-Plated Contacts,
plus Pre-Tinned, Coated and Other Easy-to-Solder Materials

Johnson's CFR, Chloride-Free Rosin

Johnson's New CFR Rosin Paste Flux may be used for soldering silver plated contacts using Johnson's WonderFlo TM, Sn62/Pb/Ag solder, or Johnson's IA-423 Sn/4.7Ag/1.7Cu, ternary eutectic, lead-free solder (to maximize conductivity).

It is also possible to use this halide-free flux for soldering pretinned connectors to stranded or braded wires, to reduce concerns about corrosion from flux resudues, if flux wicks up under the insulation.
